Ener Z is a professional services firm providing a variety of solutions to businesses globally - from advisory, business development, consulting, project management, and more.
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer who can work on-site at customer locations in the Greater Toronto Area, performing cleaning, maintenance services on electrical equipment.
This is a part-time and junior position, with the opportunity to become senior over time. We encourage anyone applying to pursue other opportunities alongside this role given that they can accommodate timelines. Compensation will be hourly and based on work completed. Training and transportation costs will also be compensated.
Please note that the pay structure for this role is dependent on your availability and whether clients have assigned a project. Training during this period will be compensated.
The ideal candidate should have experience dealing with sensitive materials in industrial environments, understanding of related safety protocols, and experience documenting requirements for projects. They are proactive in troubleshooting issues, and working closely with stakeholders to provide guidance and best practices.
Qualifications

• A vehicle or means of transportation for traveling to customers is preferred.
• Be located in Ontario, Canada - preferably around the Greater Toronto Area.
• Canadian citizenship; or permanent resident status; or someone with a work visa.

Candidates that do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Requirements

• Ability to use safety protection gears such as insulating gloves, insulating boots, anti-static clothes, goggles, dispensing gloves, insulated ropes and ladders.
• Ability to use testing instruments for diagnostic purposes such as high powered binoculars and high-definition thermal imaging equipment.
• Certification or background in handling equipment, safety training, working with chemically sensitive materials in industrial environments.
• Certification or background in safety standards such as first aid.
• Experience in electromechanical and/or power operation maintenance.
• Experience in assessing abnormalities and/or issues within the cleaning process to prevent common or new occurrences in industrial environments.
• Knowledge and/or professional skills related to electrical equipment and systems.
• Understanding protocols for live maintenance work in complex network communication equipment and secondary control distributions.
