Job Title: Field Safety Advisor

Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Field Safety Advisor to support operations and facilities in North East British Columbia on their Health and Safety team. Reporting directly to the HSE Manager for facilities, operations, and construction, you will coach and influence workers and contractors on-site to act safely and uphold a strong safety culture. You will play a crucial role in transitioning the team towards a more mature safety culture, ensuring everyone has the necessary knowledge, awareness, and tools to act safely. You must be able to build strong rapport and communicate tactfully while staying firm on principles and guidelines.

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fort St. John, British Columbia.

Work Environment

12-hour shifts, 2/2 rotation, drive-in drive-out. Sites are located around Fort St John, NE BC. Candidates must be able to travel to and from the site every 2 weeks and will stay in camp when on-site. You will need your own truck to travel between various sites. Provide your own vehicle/computer and phone. $1.12/KM mileage reimbursement. Contract duration is 1 year, with a high likelihood of extension.
