Job Title: Robot Programmer

Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Robot Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC software, specifically Rockwell, and will be proficient in commissioning and programming Fanuc and Nachi robots. This role involves working on various applications including material handling, spot welding, sealer, drawn arc stud, and racking. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for setting up Ethernet and Device Net for all specified robots.
Key Responsibilities:
PLC Programming:

• Utilize Rockwell software to develop, test, and maintain PLC programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PLC-related issues to ensure smooth operation.

Robot Programming:

• Commission and program Fanuc and Nachi (AW, AX) robots.
• Develop and implement robot programs for:
• Material Handling: Automate the movement and handling of materials.
• Spot Welding: Program robots for precise spot welding tasks.
• Sealer Applications: Ensure accurate application of sealants.
• Drawn Arc Stud Welding: Program robots for drawn arc stud welding processes.
• Racking Applications: Automate racking processes for efficiency.

Network Setup:

• Configure and set up Ethernet and Device Net for all specified robots.
• Ensure reliable communication between robots and other systems.

Testing and Validation:

• Conduct thorough testing of robot programs to ensure they meet performance and accuracy standards.

Maintenance and Support:

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for robot systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during operation.

Documentation:

• Maintain detailed documentation of all programming and setup processes.
• Update and manage records of changes and improvements made to robot programs.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Robot Programming experience (from scratch)
• MUST HAVE NACHI Experience
• Rockwell PLC
• Integration exp

This is a contract position with a duration of 8 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Brampton, Ontario.

Work Environment

The role may involve working in industrial settings where the robots are deployed. It requires both independent work and collaboration with a team to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of robot systems
