The role of Service Truck Laborer is of vital importance to our operations. This position is responsible for assisting the service truck driver and safely operating equipment in a variety of weather and road condition throughout Prince George and the surrounding region. You will be working directly with our customers on their worksites, so a professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills are a must. Ensuring safe work practices and the ability to assess hazards are keys skills you currently have in your arsenal. The ability to be thorough, yet efficient will be required to ensure the completion of cleaning, servicing and maintaining the combo truck and mobile washroom units that are scheduled within that day.
Previous professional cleaning experience is an asset but not required, but the right skill set and attitude is a must. The progressive management team is willing to train the right individual on equipment and service knowledge to ensure you are capable of handling their related issues.
Responsibilities:
· Attend weekly safety meetings
.Assist in the delivery and set up Wash cars for jobsites and events
.Assist in the delivery and set up porta potties and job site fencing
· Ensure all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner
· on site cleaning and maintenance if the washroom facilities
· Ability to problem solve from diagnosis to correction basic electrical/plumbing/mechanical issues that may arise
Basic Janitorial duties on facilities on work sites
learn to operate vac truck combo unit
· Work with minimal supervision in a safe, respectful, team environment.
· Maintain company safety culture.
· Work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time.
· Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· A valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean abstract.
· Be a self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask during high volume times.
· Good communication skills, oral and written, with the ability to communicate persuasively, excellent telephone manner and excellent customer service attitude.
· over night stay in camp required
· A team player, able to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
· Good organizational skills and the ability to pay attention to detail.
