Intelligent Wellhead Systems (IWS) is currently looking for a full-time Field Technician to join our team. IWS specializes in developing and deploying innovative digital safety and efficiency technologies for oil and gas well completions. Their In Vision™ Technology platform is designed to help oil and gas companies and oilfield service providers minimize operational risks, reduce costs, and enhance uptime. Established in Canada in 2012, Intelligent Wellhead Systems Inc. ("IWS") is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and is a wholly owned Canadian subsidiary of Pason Systems Inc., a publicly traded Alberta Corporation on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: PSI) founded in 1978.

The Field Technician role at IWS is pivotal for our success, involving tasks such as on-site equipment installation, training, and systems troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with customers daily through various interactions, including in-person, verbal and written communication, written records, and basic field interactions.
Install and configure electrical hardware, mechanical components, and software at customer locations.
Set up network devices associated with In Vision™ systems and components, with appropriate training.
Conduct training sessions for customers and third-party service providers on the proper use of IWS equipment.
Compile field reports, collect data, and perform basic data analysis.
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic, electrical, and computer-based equipment, with appropriate training.
Manage equipment rig-up/rig-out, inspection, maintenance, and organization of different equipment types.
Offer hands-on and remote support to clients and third-party services at customer sites.
Work independently to self-dispatch as needed.

Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an oil and gas well completion related service line.
Experience in field-based operations, general maintenance tasks, wellsite operations, and safety protocols.
Willingness to work away from home and travel to the US.
Ability to adapt to changing work environments, priorities, and assignments.
Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft products (IWS will provide training on proprietary hardware and software systems).
Capacity to deliver detailed and efficient reports.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Interest in current and emerging technologies helping to achieve organizational objectives and targets.
