Job Title: Regional Service GT
MAJOR RESPONSIBILTIES:
To ensure the all our Customers in Quebec Canada have access to this individual and he/she is able to colour match and trouble shoot press-side and make inks on demand when required
This person will also be required to travel occasionally.
Work within the Flint TPS Ink Management system to provide blended ink to customers’ presses:
He/she will require to work independently and have excellent communication skills. Be able to communicate at all levels; ground floor to executive management.
Weigh, blend and deliver in a productive and efficient manner press-ready Inks or coatings.
Responsible for colour matching using X-rite colour software, Muse colour, and NIX.
Managing ink Inventory and work-off options, when customer has old or obsolete inks.
Assist with pail recycling and manage ink and cost management.
Ink chemistry and understanding the use of additives. In addition colour management and ink custom workshop.
Work with customer to ensure best efficiencies and offer alternative cost reduction solutions when possible.
Continuous improvements, special projects with customers
REQUIREMENTS: Excellent written and verbal communication.
Must be able to see color.
Minimum three years of successful manufacturing experience.
Ability to perform strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work (lifting, pushing, pulling objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally 100 pounds),
Plus EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years in the printing industry
EDUCATION: College or University (depending on experience)

Experience:

• Production: 2 years (preferred)
• Ink Mixing: 1 year (required)
• Color Matching: 1 year (preferred)
