Role Mission: Hiring a talented, creative, positive, highly organized, proactive, good-natured person with experience juggling multiple graphic design and website design projects in an agency environment or in-house at a healthcare technology or life sciences company.

Key Responsibilities for the role

• Deliver a consistently high level of creativity and quality, often with short turnaround times - efficiency is critical
• Work under the direction of the Senior Creative Director
• Collaborate with content and digital departments to execute designs for print and digital (ads, content assets, trade show booths, etc.)
• Build and maintain Word Press websites
• Manage several projects across multiple clients while working with various agency team members
• Support project managers by interfacing with clients to answer technical and design questions
• Stay up-to-date with technology and design trends; encourage innovation throughout the agency

Mandatory Skills

• 3+ years experience in graphic design (with a strong emphasis on layout, typography, color); proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required (Photoshop/Illustrator)
• 3+ years experience in Word Press website design (using various Word Press themes, page builders, and plug-ins)
• Expertise with frontend design and understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS, although coding skills not required
• Understanding and focus on performance-oriented development to improve critical metrics (page speed, conversion metrics, etc.)
• Experience in B2B design or working with healthcare technology and life sciences companies a major plus
• Experience working with diverse marketing teams (content, digital, development teams)
• Exceptional communication skills (written + verbal + listening)
• Extremely strong project management skills
• Ability to self-manage and consistently meet deadlines while juggling multiple assignments
• Confidence in presenting to senior-level executives
• Easy to get along with (soft skills)
• Available at least half the time during client hours (9 to 5 CST) for meetings. We are flexible with schedule but it is important that working hours accommodate client meeting needs, which typically take place in the morning US time

Compensation

• Salary: CAD$80,000 -$107,000/ year (based on experience and performance)
