Our client in Abbotsford who specializes in poultry breeding is hiring a Hatchery Worker to join their team! The people here show up every day with a smile on their face and are dedicated to get the job done. If you feel like you would be an asset to this team then we would love to meet with you!
Shifts: 2-3 days per week
Work days begin early, about 5a.m.
(You must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship and currently residing in British Columbia)
Duties:

• Ensures accurate daily completion of records and statistics
• Performs general cleaning of hatchery facilities, setter rooms, hatcher rooms and equipment according to company guideline
• Informs supervisor immediately of any concerns and/or problems
• Performs all duties related to egg tray up, egg transfers, chick pulling, and chick delivery in an efficient and effective manner
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship and currently residing in BC
• Must have good spoken and written English language, and ability to follow instructions
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and able to lift at least 40 lbs (18 kg)
• Grade 10 education
• Must be punctual and reliable
