The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for direct/indirect labor and activities affecting line-speed, cycle checks, scrolls and workstation assignments, change control and line balancing.

The Industrial Engineer must also utilize lean concepts to identify/eliminate waste and perform time/motion studies; assist the IE Manager with technical services to maintain efficient levels of lean manufacturing and manning; and support SPW where required.

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Ability to work as part of a team, self-motivated, and be able to interface with all levels of management and labour

Must have good analytical, written and verbal communication skills

Must have proficient Microsoft Office & Google Suite skills

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications :
Minimum THREE (3) years of Industrial Engineering experience in manufacturing

Experience working in a union environment

Data collection, root cause analysis, and practical problem-solving skills

MODAPTS certification

Knowledge of Body/Paint shop area
