In Vision is a Professional Recruitment Firm involved in Engineering, Industrial/Skilled Trades, Information Technology and Professional Services within Canada and the U.S. We have a successful track record working on both small and large recruitment projects, across North America.
Our client a leading manufacturer and they are actively seeking a Spray Painter to join their growing team. They are actively seeking candidates with attention to detail and good dexterity for the position of an industrial painter.
Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and preparing surfaces
• Preparing paints
• Use spray gun to perform Spray Painting
• Use measuring equipment such as viscosity cups, thickness gauges and gloss gauges to check the composition of the paint
• Use a variety of techniques and tools to paint surfaces
• Use spray equipment, airbrushes, stencils, rollers or brushes
• Responsible for choosing the best tool for the job
• Apply primers, prefinished and topcoats
• Use special safety equipment such as body suits or protective eyewear
• Carefully follow all guidelines for the safe handling and disposal of chemicals and hazardous waste.
• Maintaining painting equipment
• Understand any problems with the equipment and quickly find a solution
• Remove previous paint surfaces using masking or a chemical rinse.
• Painting small items and doing touch-ups.

Industrial Painter Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Physical strength to perform the job
• Diligence and attention to detail.
• Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good verbal communication.
