We are looking for a full-time, permanent Ingredient Handler and Dishwasher to work Wednesday through Sunday. The role involves weighing and storing ingredients, managing dishwashing, and cleaning all areas of the bakery. The ideal candidate must have prior kitchen experience, especially with ingredient weightage, and a strong focus on cleanliness and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Ingredient Management:

• Weigh, portion, and mark ingredients accurately as requested by kitchen staff.
• Retrieve, organize, and label ingredients to ensure easy identification and access.
• Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
• Assist in inventory checks and promptly notify team members of low-stock or expired items.

Dishwashing:

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment efficiently.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, adhering to safety standards.

General Cleaning:

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the bakery, including surfaces, floors, and storage areas, as requested.
• Remove trash and recyclables, ensuring proper disposal methods are followed.
• Perform routine deep-cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic bakery environment.

Position Requirement:
· Previous kitchen experience, particularly with ingredient weightage and portioning.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow storage and labeling procedures.
· Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness standards.
· Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
· Reliable, organized, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
