Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, MS Azure, Palo Alto, SD-WAN, Proofpoint, Commvault, Nutanix and VMWare.
Familiar (IT) In a CPG industry.
Comfortable dealing with suppliers, vendors, and other partner companies

IT Manager
Burnbrae Farms Limited, a leading egg producer and processor with operations across Canada has an immediate requirement for an IT Manager. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading the Information Technology (IT) team, as it related to infrastructure (cloud and on-prem), networking, cyber security, telecommunications, system administration and user & application support. This position is based in Mississauga, Ontario and requires traveling from time to time. Work from home will be based on Burnbrae’s policies.
Term: Permanent, Full-Time, Mon-Fri, Day
Work Mode: Hybrid (onsite 3-days a week)

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintaining/Ensuring/Managing/Optimizing the following:
o Day-to-day user requests logged via the existing IT ticketing system
o Uptime, business continuity, and support of Burnbrae’s corporate applications (SAP, Microsoft O365 Suite, and various other applications)
o Existing hardware and system infrastructure (physical & virtual servers, phones, network devices, etc.)
o Robust backup and disaster recovery planning
o Network and Cyber Security Readiness
· Managing the IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching direct reports, communicating job expectations, and evaluating their performance. Hold regular one-on-one and team meetings
· Leading the implementation/upgrade of the companywide IT projects by creating initiatives, coordinating resources, and setting up short- and long-term goals for the IT team
· Working closely with SAP and non-SAP Systems Integrators and Burnbrae SAP team for successful implementation of various SAP and Non-SAP modules.
· Collaborating actively with Burnbrae’s projects teams, managers and PMO to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost effective technology solutions for all areas of the company.
· Developing, maintaining, and enforcing IT policies, security measures and best practices
· Maintaining up-to-date documentation on IT procedures, and end user training docs
· Ensuring the Network Infrastructure Security is in accordance with industry standards
· Analyzing and ensuring company-wide software license compliance
· Dealing with suppliers, vendors, and other partner companies
· Preparing annual budget for the IT department and executing accordingly
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering, business computing or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory/management role
· SAP implementation/support experience
· Strong business acumen with an understanding of the link between business needs and IT operations
· Proven track record in working with multiple teams/initiatives
· Proactive approach to problem-solving and coordination
· Advanced overall knowledge of Cyber Security, networking, operating systems, and server architectures
· Knowledge of software vendor licensing rules and terms including Microsoft, VMWare, Nutanix, Adobe, and SAP.
· Experience with SAP S/4HANA, MS Azure, Palo Alto, SD-WAN, Proofpoint, Commvault, Nutanix and VMWare
· CPG industry experience is an asset
· Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and work under tight deadlines and high degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability
· Strong planning, organizational and project management skills
· Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
· Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
· May require working during non-business hours and on weekends at times
