About the job
In this newly created role within our Corporate Services Team, the HR Services & Operations Manager will have direct responsibility for delivering on all facets of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, career pathing, succession, and total compensation. Collaborating with the Corporate Team Members, and in consultation with Client Managers, the HR Services Lead will develop annual workforce plans, managing the alignment of people and talent to company priorities. Working within a Global HR Framework, the HR Lead will ensure adherence to processes and workflows to optimize resources and talent deployment while managing risks in the Canadian market.
This HR Lead position will operate out of our Mirabel Office, and Candidates are expected to be on-site Monday – Friday.

À propos du travail Dans ce rôle nouvellement créé au sein de notre équipe des services d'entreprise, le responsable des services et des opérations RH aura la responsabilité directe de répondre à toutes les facettes des RH, y compris le recrutement, l'intégration, le cheminement de carrière, la succession et la rémunération totale. En collaboration avec les membres de l'équipe d'entreprise et en consultation avec les gestionnaires de clients, le responsable des services RH élaborera des plans annuels de main-d'œuvre, gérant l'alignement des personnes et des talents sur les priorités de l'entreprise. Travaillant dans un cadre RH mondial, le responsable RH assurera le respect des processus et des flux de travail afin d'optimiser le déploiement des ressources et des talents tout en gérant les risques sur le marché canadien. Ce poste de responsable des ressources humaines fonctionnera à partir de notre bureau de Mirabel et les candidats devraient être sur place du lundi au vendredi.
About you
To succeed in this role, Candidates will have had significant experience and expertise in managing the full suite of HR Services, Program, and Policies within the Canadian market. In addition, Candidates have previously held a position as Regional Lead, supporting Client Managers through business transitions, legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions in Canada, and people development and engagement. Along with a certification or HR professional designation, Candidates will have demonstrated knowledge in performance planning, compensation analysis, training & development, vendor management, and benefits planning.
Finally, the HR Lead will bring a mix of technical competencies and managerial skills to support Client Managers and Biesse Colleagues through effective coaching, performance feedback, and guided learning. Candidates that are fluent in French and English, with at least 5-7 years of managerial responsibilities in the Quebec & Ontario Regions, are most likely to succeed in this role.

More Details About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, managers and senior leadership, to understand their needs and expectations for HR services and plan these for different talent segments and locations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize HR service delivery processes within a shared services framework.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of HR services such as recruiting for key positions, employee onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management in HRIS.
- Manage and deliver services to internal clients in Canada, including BC, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec.
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR service delivery processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for digitalization and implementation of self-service tools to streamline HR service delivery
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers supporting HR service delivery, ensuring adherence to service agreements and quality standards.
- Ensure HR service delivery practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Utilize HR analytics and reporting tools to track key performance metrics, identify trends, and generate insights for decision-making.
- Certification and/or Professional Designation in HR
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources or related field.
- Strong understanding of Canadian HR laws, especially Ontario and Quebec employment standards, practices, and legal requirements.
- A minimum of 5 years proven experience in HR service delivery management and shared services oversight.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience leading HR, preferably within an engineering or manufacturing company.
- Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities, to support Company changes and business transitions.
- Conducts themselves with consistency, and guided by professional and ethical standards.
- Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and regulations.
- Experience and expertise in conducting workplace investigations, from complaint to resolution stages.
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements and standardization initiatives.
- Experience with HR analytics and reporting tools.
- Experience with SAP Success Factors is considered a strong asset.
- Fluency in French Language and ability to support clients in Quebec consistent with provincial language requirements.
Pay: $98,500.00-$127,500.55 per year
