• Liaising with IT managers, finance, and vendors to ensure the timely and accurate payment of all IT invoices.
• Assisting in tracking IT inventory, including receiving, and recording assets.
• Matching and receiving PO invoices in a timely manner and assisting with the physical receiving process as required.
• Reviewing recurrent invoices for billing accuracy (i.e., utilities, time & materials, regular monthly invoices).
• Resolving payment and supplier account discrepancies.
• Continuously maintaining strong business relationships with IT vendors by responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Reviewing requisitions for accurate GL coding; preparing and issuing purchase orders to order IT goods and services.
• IT asset management transactions within the financial system consisting of asset transfers, asset disposals, and recording of proper asset profile information at the point of purchase order creation.
• Seeking opportunities, challenging procedures, and making recommendations to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Providing administrative support to ensure effective and efficient office operations.
• Travelling locally between offices and warehouses on an as-needed basis to deliver and receive product.

• A minimum of one year of experience in a procurement role. Experience in IT procurement is considered an asset.
• Sound knowledge and work experience with accounting principles.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• A valid driver's licence.
• Experience with Service Now Asset Management is considered an asset.
• Experience with People Soft Financial system is considered an asset.
• Post secondary education in business or a related field is considered an asset.
