Junior Application Engineer

Job Summary: The Junior Application Engineer serves as a liaison in the sales process when complex and technical equipment or services are involved.
Salary Range: $55,000 to $75,000
Supervisory Responsibility:
None
Responsibilities/Duties:
· Perform onsite and offsite demonstrations of ATEQ instruments
· Prepare formal price and technical quotations
· Perform customer feasibility studies
· Create technical data reports
· Support customers on site with applications issues

• Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and systems requirements.
• Drafts or assists with the drafting of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers.
• Ensures that customer needs are met, which may include product modifications.
• Handling calls and emails as part of the Outside Sales territory plans
• Key account management & handling general incoming sales calls
• Assisting with Order Processing and schedules deliveries
• Travel Ontario up to 50% of the time

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or field related to products and services being sold preferred.
• Two to four years of related product or sales experience required.
• Sensor and fluid mechanical knowledge are required

CRM system management
Previous experience in the engineering manufacturing industries
