KIRKOR is seeking a Junior Architectural Technologist with at least 3 years of experience and is available to commence upon hire. This is a full-time, in-studio position, with a salary range of $50-60k/annum including 2 weeks’ paid vacation, a valuable benefits package and an optional RRSP program. Candidates should have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and are keen on learning about complex residential and mixed-use projects, to take on the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare black line drawings for marketing
• Draw construction details and dimensioning of floor plans
• Experience with building envelope detailing
• Prepare construction documents for building permit and tender documents
• Prepare and revise site instruction documents and sketches
• Coordinate and review architectural and consultant drawings
• Thorough knowledge of building systems and detailing
• Solid knowledge of the Building Code
• Excellent working drawings and Revit skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of a recognized Architectural Technology diploma program with 3- 5 years of experience
• High level of skill with REVIT required
• Working knowledge and experience with the Building Code
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, In Design and Illustrator would be considered assets), Microsoft Office (Outlook, Power Point, Word), and Zoom.
