The Role - The Junior Home Comfort Advisor role is an entry-level position designed with two main goals in mind:

• Support the Senior Home Comfort Advisor with data collection, quote building, and client interactions to ensure our clients receive the best home comfort solutions and home assessment services. There are many data points that need to be considered to ensure that we are suggesting the right solutions for the clients needs.
• On the job training through a mentorship role with the Senior Home Comfort Advisor. It is the ultimate goal of this position to allow individuals to learn all aspects of the sales procedure, products, and services that we offer. Additionally, gaining sales experience alongside a senior sales person. Through hands-on experience and guidance from experienced professionals, you will gain valuable insights and build a strong foundation for a successful career in home comfort advising.

A Day in the life of a Junior Home Comfort Advisor:
Morning Routine: Each day begins with the Junior and Senior Home Comfort Advisors arranging a time and place to meet. Once together, the Junior Home Comfort Advisor takes on the driving duties, ensuring timely and efficient travel to each appointment.
On the Road: As the Junior Advisor drives, the Senior Home Comfort Advisor calls ahead to clients, following our sales procedures to confirm appointments, complete follow-up emails, and handle other administrative computer tasks. This teamwork ensures that all preparations are in place for a productive day.
Client Visits: Upon arrival at each client's location, the Senior Home Comfort Advisor takes the lead in introducing the Junior Advisor and explaining the process. This introduction sets the stage for a seamless and professional experience for our clients.
Data Collection and Quote Building: The Junior Home Comfort Advisor is responsible for collecting relevant data and building quotes in the job file. This hands-on experience is crucial for developing a thorough understanding of the clients' needs and the solutions we offer.
Client Interaction: While the Junior Advisor focuses on data collection and quote preparation, the Senior Home Comfort Advisor investigates the clients' issues, discusses available rebates, and explains our products and services in detail. This dual approach ensures that clients receive comprehensive and personalized advice.
Presentation of Quotes: Each visit culminates with the presentation of quotes to the clients. The Senior Home Comfort Advisor leads this presentation, providing detailed explanations and answering any questions the clients may have. This final step is essential in helping clients make informed decisions about their home comfort solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection:
• Assist in gathering and utilizing home data to properly size HVAC equipment.
• Assist in gathering and utilizing home data to properly quote insulation installation services.
• Assist in gathering and utilizing home data to properly size solar systems.
• Use a drone to collect imagery of roof systems
• Conduct blower door tests
• Quote Building:
• Work closely with the Senior Home Comfort Advisor to prepare detailed and accurate quotes for clients.
• Ensure all quotes reflect the clients' needs and are competitive in the market.
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain necessary information for quote preparation.
• Client Interaction:
• Support the Senior Home Comfort Advisor in client consultations and meetings.
• Assist in maintaining positive and ongoing relationships with clients.
• Sales Support:
• Provide administrative support to the Senior Home Comfort Advisor and the sales team.
• Driving Company vehicle.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay informed about the latest trends in home comfort solutions and technologies.
• Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
• Suggest improvements to processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Experience with CRM software is an advantage.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
