Aplin has partnered with a Winnipeg-based company to hire a Junior Site Supervisor. This role involves overseeing all phases of the construction process, from excavation through to pre-possession. The Junior Site Supervisor will ensure a safe work environment, coordinate sub-trades and materials, maintain compliance with specifications, and uphold quality standards in line with the project schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized site, ensuring all sub-trades adhere to Safety & Health standards.
• Provide direction to sub-trades to ensure work aligns with the production schedule.
• Coordinate the delivery and organization of materials on-site.
• Perform daily inspections to review completed work and ensure site readiness for City inspections.
• Verify all work aligns with drawings and specifications, meeting quality standards.
• Monitor sub-trade performance to ensure project timelines are met, and provide weekly updates to the Construction Manager.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in a construction-related field (preferred).
• Proficiency with construction-related software and technology.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communicator with a positive approach and problem-solving abilities.
