Reptile Express International is Canada's trusted, reliable and professional domestic & international door-to-door shipping provider of reptiles, inverts, amphibians and aquatics. We pioneered the door-to-door shipping of these animals in Canada.
In order to continue providing timely replies/processing of orders, we are looking to add another in-office team member. Things we are looking for in the potential candidate:
Requirements:

• Friendly & Professional Customer Service Skills
• Ability to Multi-Task
• Accuracy in data entry
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Fast Typing (WPM above 50)
• Sorting & Packaging of live Reptiles (no free handling involved as they're all contained in containers)
• Sorting & Packaging Dry Goods (no heavy lifting required)
• Attention To Detail
• Time Management Skills
• Ability To Work Independently & as Part of A Team
• Flexibility in Schedule (i.e., more hours are required on specific days of the month for activities such as dealing with imports/exports)
• Fluent in English (writing and speaking)

Nice to Have:

• Interest in Reptiles and Amphibians

GREAT to Have:

• 3PL Experience
• Freight Forwarding Experience
• CIFFA or IATA Certificates

*During Training Period: Payment will be $17.50-$19/hour based on shipping/logistics experience with the carriers (ie. creating shipping labels, packing, calling carriers to track delays, using the most affordable & quickest shipping option, customer service experience).
Wage increases are provided upon skills & commitment shown.
This is a comfortable office job that mostly involves data entry & customer service tasks. But at the same time, we're looking for someone that pays great attention to detail and has a great work ethic.
This is a seasonal position for October & November. If the candidate shows great work ethic, we'll keep them on with a permanent position after we return from December holidays.
*Part-Time Position - Mondays to Wednesdays (7hrs/day) with the option of additional days if required.
