About the role

We are looking for a Supervisor, Personnel Logistics & CMX to work collaboratively with all operational and functional departments. Reporting to the Superintendent, Personnel Logistics & CMX, located at the Lac de Gras Mine Site, you will be working a 2 week on / 2 week off roster.
You will be responsible for:
  • Leading inbound and outbound travel activities utilizing FIFO (fly in / fly out) system and identifying opportunities for efficiencies.
  • Serves as a general resource and point of contact for travel related inquires, in line with and championing Diavik policies and procedures.
  • Supports the execution of Contractor Management (CM) initiatives to achieve safety and productivity.
  • Supports the execution of initiatives and activities related to the Diavik Camp Council.
  • Directs and leads activities related to operational and functional administration while identifying opportunities for efficiencies.
  • Assists and supports camp facility initiatives as directed.
  • Performs other duties or related tasks and projects as required.
What you’ll bring
To be considered for this role, you will have:
  • A strong demonstrated safety mindset.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience with proven supervisory or leadership skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.)
  • Ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure, determine priorities and produce high quality results.
  • The ability to be flexible and take on a variety of administrative activities.
Northern residency and experience working in a cross-cultural environment, coupled with knowledge of the unique challenges and opportunities presented to those living in the North, are assets. Hiring priority will be given to qualified applicants who are beneficiaries of the DDMI Participation Agreement Groups and to qualified applicants residing in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Territories.
