The following competencies will be embodied by the successful candidate:
- Proven ability to lead/motivate a highly skilled team faced with significant change and increasing service expectations
- Strong coaching skills and understanding of coaching principles
- Committed to employee engagement, development and growth
- Driven in service with appropriate sense of urgency
- Results driven and proven ability to exceed targets
- Strong presentation, facilitation, interpersonal and motivational skills
- Innovative problem-solving abilities and a creative thinker with sound judgment
- Strong knowledge of financial services industry products, services, procedures and policies ideally in mutual funds,
- Ability to analyze situations, diagnosis problems, develop and implement creative solutions
- Post secondary education and 2-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Successful completion of CSC/IFIC, is an asset
