Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Meat Packer and Processor for a Pork Livestock Processing Facility to join our client's team in Dundalk, ON. Our ideal candidate has experience in the food industry, and will have experience in food processing, meat cutting, and possess manufacturing knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Butcher and cut/ handle Pork products according to company standards
- Sanitize work area and equipment to maintain cleanliness and food safety
- Package processed meat products for distribution
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate processing equipment efficiently
Qualifications:

Meat packaging experience
Manufacturing industry experience
Experience with labelling and getting products ready for shipping
Sanitize and clean the work area
MUST be able to hand PORK products and handle the smell

Skills:
- Proficiency in food safety practices and following all food handling GMPs and protocols and wear necessary PPE properly
- Experience in meat packaging and processing/ handling techniques
- Mechanical aptitude to operate processing machinery effectively
- Prior work experience in the food industry is a plus
Shift:
Monday - Friday shifts on Days and Afternoons
Pay-scale:
$20/hr - $22/hr (dependent on experience)
