Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sanitation workers for a Pork Livestock Processing Facility to join our client's team in Dundalk, ON. Our ideal candidate has experience in the food industry, and will have experience in food processing, meat cutting, and possess manufacturing knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Sanitization of kill floor and other areas of the facility, according to company standards
- Sanitize work area and equipment, hose down the floor and maintain cleanliness and food safety
- Package processed meat products for distribution
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate processing equipment efficiently
Qualifications:

• Sanitation experience
• Packaging experience (asset)
• Sanitize and clean the work area
• MUST be able to hand PORK products and handle the smell

Skills:
- Proficiency in food safety practices and following all food handling GMPs and protocols and wear necessary PPE properly
- Experience in meat cutting and processing/ handling techniques
- Mechanical aptitude to operate processing machinery effectively
- Prior work experience in the food industry is a plus
Shift:
Monday - Friday shifts on Days and Afternoons
Pay-scale:
$20/hr - $28/hr (dependent on experience)
