Program Coordinator

The Institute of Health Economics (IHE) is recruiting a dynamic professional to fill the position of Program Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the coordination of the secretariat of the International Network of Agencies for Health Technology Assessment (INAHTA) (www.inahta.org), which is housed at the IHE.
INAHTA is a network of 50 public agencies in 30+ countries and the Program Coordinator plays an essential role in delivering secretariat services to support an international Board of Directors. The aim is to achieve the strategic goals of INAHTA which are to advance the practice and impact of health technology assessment (HTA) within member agencies and to represent the interests of members in the broader policy ecosystem.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the coordination and administration of INAHTA’s various programs and services. With oversight and direction from the INAHTA Executive Manager, the Program Coordinator will fulfill the following duties:
- (scheduling, drafting agendas and minutes, monitoring workplans, preparing briefing documents with guidance, maintaining contact lists, conduct simple information searches and summaries)
- (identifying and liaising with hotels and other vendors, preparing and administering registrations, preparing Congress program materials, speakers, and slide presentations)
- (organize virtual webinars, draft and administer surveys of members, coordinate listserv program)
- (preparing communications materials as directed, administering basic social media and news feed according to established guidelines)
- (maintaining the INAHTA website, HTA database, HTA Glossary, with technical support)
Qualifications and experience
- A college diploma in business or a related field and 2 or more years of experience supporting project management and delivery.
- Advanced proficiency with standard office programs (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills; capable of identifying steps, prioritizing, managing schedules and meeting deadlines.
- Capability to manage standard IT platforms (e.g., website, HTA database, Zoom).
- Superior written and spoken English with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to be available at early/late times of the day for international virtual meetings.
- Availability for occasional international travel, if required.
