The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing project intake activities. This role requires strong communication and organization skills, as well as a good understanding of the construction industry. You should be a team player with great attention to detail, a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
Proposals Coordinator - Assist in preparing, tracking and following up on client proposals and RFQ’s including:

• Review RFQ documents and develop required scope.
• Review architectural and mechanical drawings.
• Prepare proposals and cost estimates for review by Senior Engineers.
• Prepare contracts, review tenders, supporting documentation, clearances etc.

Project award and intake coordinator, including client onboarding and request for required information.
Communicate with clients and other team members to coordinate various aspects of work.
Communicate with various cities and regions to facilitate permits and appointments and update tracking information.
Engage with new clients to answer questions and to complete project intake.
Assist in preparing hardcopies of reports for clients and arrange postage or courier.
Review project expenses and allocate project costs.
Provide general support during project phase to the Project Managers. Principal Engineers and Office Manager.
Skills/Qualifications

• Minimum experience – 2 years of relevant experience in the engineering or construction industry.
• Must possess a strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be detail oriented with strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Familiarity with engineering or construction industry is an asset.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical drawings is an asset.
• Previous experience in engineering proposal writing is an asset.
