ABOUT REDWOOD PLASTICS AND RUBBER:
Since 1971 Redwood Plastics and Rubber has worked directly with customers to find solutions for a variety of problems including: shock, abrasion, noise, wear & friction. We have extensive experience, in-house engineering, and large-scale manufacturing facilities to produce custom components for longer wear life, decreased downtime, increased production, lighter weight, cost effectiveness and increased safety.

POSITION SUMMARY:
As our receptionist, you will be responsible for organizing and performing administrative support services. You will be the primary contact for external communications. You will work in a friendly office environment out of our Flagship Location in Langley, B.C.
Please note: This is a front-facing role that requires your presence in the office for the entire duration of your shift.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answer phones and direct customers to appropriate person.
  • Greet and assisting visitors and customers when they arrive at the office.
  • Distribute incoming mails.
  • Data Entry to support sales using Syspro our ERP program.
  • Ordering and organizing office supplies and purchasing as required.
  • Sending out updated lead times for production requirements.
  • Ensuring lead time date changes are reviewed and updated as required and timely notifications are sent to the sales team.
  • Filing.
  • Keeping the office kitchen areas clean and organize duties including purchasing supplies.
  • Back-up for Admin, ordering office and coffee supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Order entry and monitoring incoming requests
  • Supporting other team members by engaging in cross training for various tasks
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Professional appearance and courteous manner.
  • Exceptional interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with office technology and equipment, including fax machines, printers, copiers, scanners, and computers.
  • Strong task and time management skills.
  • Accountable for maintaining a professional work environment focused on exceptional service
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers suppliers and colleagues
  • Self-starter who can prioritize
  • Industry knowledge would be an asset
  • Syspro experience would be an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
