Ballast Regulator Operator – Western Canada

If you’re an experienced Regulator Operator that is passionate about safety, enjoy working outdoors, and love to travel, this opportunity is for you.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience as Ballast Regulator Operator: Minimum 1-year experience operating the Regulator on track.
  • Final Work: Experienced not just with fill in but also final product.
  • CROR: Previous CROR (rules) certification.
  • Quality Work Boots: Willingness to invest in 8-inch metatarsal work boots (not basic work boots) for safety.
  • Fit-For-Duty: Pass criminal record check and drug and fitness screening, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Physicality: Must be able to work as labourer when required.
  • Railway Operating Rules: Pass all required railway operating rules examinations.
  • Flexibility: Ability and willingness to travel to remote work locations as needed.
  • Shift Availability: Be prepared to work all shifts.
  • Self-Sufficiency: Support yourself until your first paycheck arrives.
