Restaurant Supervisor

Hecla Resort located in the beautiful Hecla Provincial Park is a full service, year round resort offering exceptional service, made from scratch foods and a welcoming atmosphere for our Guests. Our passion for hospitality and our commitment to Guest service starts with the people we employ.
We are looking for a couple of Front of House Supervisors to join our TEAM at Seagull's! We are looking for someone with 2 years supervisor experience, and 5 years of restaurant experience. Banquet experience would also be an asset, as we do a lot of meetings and conferences at the resort. These positions would also include serving and shift leader shifts.
We are looking to hire guest-oriented restaurant supervisors to ensure that all restaurant operations run smoothly. The restaurant supervisor's responsibilities include overseeing the activities of restaurant staff, expediting customers' orders as needed, and maintaining good working relationships with employees. You should also be able to identify ways to decrease the restaurant's operational costs and increase revenues.
To be successful as a restaurant supervisor, you should exercise effective management skills and also help out where needed to ensure our whole TEAM can succeed. Ultimately, a top-performing restaurant supervisor should be able to achieve exceptional customer service and ensure that customers have a pleasant restaurant experience.
Staff housing is only a 1.5 kilometre drive from the resort, or a 10 - 15 minute walk taking a short-cut through the golf course. W have a small, close knit community of about 60 employees that live in housing here on the island. We now have Starlink internet for our staff housing! If you like nature and the outdoors, this is a fantastic place to live. Our employees also get discounts on food at Seagull's, golf, and some sessions at our Salka Spa!
