Sales Manager - Industrial Plastics & Paints
Introduction:
The Redco Group, founded in 1971, is a pioneering specialist in the manufacture and distribution of industrial plastics and rubber. With facilities across North America that serve both local and international markets through all of its operating companies; Redwood Plastics and Rubber, Nylatech, Industrial Plastics & Paints, and Advanced Nylons. Industrial Plastics & Paints is a 70-year brand, servicing Western Canadian industry through four branch locations in Victoria, Richmond, Mission & Kelowna.
Industrial Plastics is seeking a hands-on sales professional to grow our B2B sales by creating both the inside and outside sales team with the goal of developing a high-performing Business Solutions Team. The ideal candidate is one who is ready to embrace our brand values to drive customer engagement and immediate sales growth, they must be a hands-on leader capable of building a team as well as conducting face to face sales calls.
The successful candidate will work with us to aggressively grow sales in the short term, while simultaneously hiring and growing salespeople to serve new markets and industries. This includes working in partnership with our other businesses sales management teams to establish a sales strategy for how we collectively take our group’s basket of products to market without creating an environment where we are competing against ourselves. In addition, this person will need to develop meaningful ways to communicate our 70-year brand history in Western Canada to a new generation of commercial customers.
This role is for a goal-oriented do-er, who can understand and apply successful B2B sales techniques to industrial, institutional and government clients.
We require an individual who can help us grow our sales by $8m over the next 5 years while building their career in partnership with us; focused on completing objectives that drive the company’s success and growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Work in partnership with sales management teams across our various business units to develop a unified sales strategy. This strategy will ensure we effectively market our collective range of products without creating inadvertent internal competition.
2. Immediately create / build a Sales team of both inside and outside sales professionals.
3. Conduct in person sales calls at customers facilities and job sites.
4. Analyze historical sales data to guide our implementation of new B2B sales strategies across various market & industry sectors to drive rapid growth.
5. Develop meaningful KPI’s that will track the success of our actions resulting in immediate sales results.
6. Lead sales initiatives and team development in existing and new markets.
7. Communicate our 70-year legacy to a new generation of commercial clients.
Overview:
As the Sales Manager, you’ll drive sales strategies, manage hands-on sales, cultivate key accounts, and build a successful sales team.
You’ll analyze business data and market trends to develop effective sales strategies. Your role includes hands-on sales, account management, and building a successful sales team to duplicate your success. To achieve this, you will extract opportunities from within our existing business data and emerging market trends.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
