A family-owned Canadian company, ECS Electrical Cable Supply has been in business for over 30 years. We are headquartered in Richmond, BC, with distribution centers across Canada and the world.
Reporting to the Quebec Regional Manager, the Sales Representative will be a valuable resource to the team and will be the primary point of contact for a large volume of accounts, negotiating pricing and ensuring timely follow-up.
What You Will Do:
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills both in person and on the phone
- Establish, meet and review sales and product budgets, sales results and strategic plans
- Provide support to further develop and maintain the sales territory
- Responsible for achievement of sales, product and market targets
- Gather and compile qualified market feedback
- Follow-up on sales activity with Outside sales representative
- Co-ordinate and report projects, over preset limit
- Regularly submit feedback to the Purchasing Department
- Complete, submit and follow-up on quotations
- Develop, review, and document new business opportunities (accounts and products)
- Assist Regional Manager with submissions to ECS Newsletter
- Assist with, and participate in, physical count of company inventories
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
- Fluency in both French and English is required (written & verbal)
- 3-5 years of Sales experience (Inside and Outside Sales)
- Post-secondary degree or diploma specializing in Business Administration or equivalent
- Keen attention to detail and strong sense of urgency when required
- Dynamic communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- A proven track record of successfully maintaining accounts
- Client focused, professional and results oriented
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms, Salesforce experience a great asset
- Competitive compensation package
- $50,000 - $60,000 per year
