S&R Sawmills has a long history of Custom Cutting in the Lower Mainland. We are a family run business that was established in 1963 and we currently have a workforce of over 300 employees on a large strip of the Fraser River. We are looking for dedicated, team-oriented individuals who have previous sawmill experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment, are safety conscious and interested in a long-term career with us. Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• 2+ years of previous experience in a sawmill environment
• First Aid, Grading Ticket etc. would be an asset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Safety first attitude
• A willingness to learn and take direction
• Must be able to do shift work (Day shifts are 7:00am – 3:30pm, Afternoon shifts are 3:30pm-12:00am)

Previous Experience in any of the following roles would be an asset:

• Sawyers
• Edgers
• Drop Sorters
• Trimmers
• Graders
• Forklift Drivers
• Packager Operators
• Machine Operators
• Boom Experience
• Greenchain Pullers

• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
