Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Toronto, ON.

Title: Security Guard, Casual
Location:Toronto, ON
Payrate: $17.20/hour-$19.78/hour

Overview:
Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security Guards for our security operations in Toronto. The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, willing to work rotational shifts, and able to work within a dynamic security team. If you have experience as a Security Guard, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in security.
• Open availability for rotational shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with staff, including site management and security personnel, in a professional manner.
• Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage.
• Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
