Fort Garry Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Shipper/Receiver to join our team at our Winnipeg location.

What You Will Do:

Oversee the shipping and receiving of products
Verify parts orders to ensure they are correct before shipment
Verify shipments received against shipping documents
Prepare shipping documents for outbound products
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas by restocking shelves and moving parts as necessary
May secure cargo to vehicle (manual or forklift)
Other duties as assigned

What We Require:

High school diploma or other high school equivalence certificate
Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience or shipper/receiver experience preferred
Excellent customer service skills - dedicated to exceeding the expectations of customers
Strong written and verbal skills - ability to write and speak succinctly with customers and colleagues
Basic to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn in-house systems
Experience operating a forklift an asset
Valid class 5/G license with 3 years of Canadian driving experience an asset
Clean driving record containing no more than 3 incidents in 3 years or any major incidents an asset
Heavy duty parts knowledge or background an asset
