The opportunity
As a Tax Staff, you will be a part of our Montreal Transfer Pricing team and broadly as part of our International Tax & Transactions Services group. You will work alongside a team of dedicated transfer pricing economists and tax professionals to provide a fully integrated approach to transfer pricing, which includes preparing annual documentation, defending transfer pricing results in tax audits, designing transfer pricing policies, and advising multinational enterprises on how to streamline and automate their transfer pricing processes.

Your key responsibilities
Tax Staff in our Transfer Pricing practice participate in various challenging engagements and contribute to the delivery of quality transfer pricing services to our diverse portfolio of clients.
Core elements of the role include
- Demonstrating a basic understanding of economic, finance, and accounting principles and effectively applying such knowledge to client engagements
- Assisting in the delivery of quality services and work products in a timely and responsive manner
- Thoroughly and accurately analyzing factual and financial information
- Demonstrating versatility and adaptability to various management styles and different types of projects
- Assisting in the preparation of high quality, practical approaches to the client's economic situation and arriving at logical conclusions
- Presenting the results of your work to small groups of colleagues or client personnel
- Conducting research on and reviewing comparable transactions for companies in support preparing documentation, including for advanced pricing arrangements, audit defence materials, and planning
- Performing industry, company and other research as needed
- Participating in and contribute to achieving team goals
To qualify for the role, you must have
- An undergraduate degree in economics, accounting, finance, business or a related field
- The ability to thrive within a fast-paced, professional services environment requiring multi-tasking and frequent collaboration with colleagues and clients
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both French and English
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point
- While based in Montreal, this position will interact with external and internal stakeholders both within and outside of Canada. French and English bilingualism is therefore a requirement.
