Gil Soucy Trucking is looking for a highly motivated Transportation Coordinator to support our operations and sales team with the daily scheduling & planning of our fleet of trucks.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to problem solve, multi-task, make decisions, prioritize and cope with frequent interruptions and deadlines. The candidate will also require the ability to work well with minimal supervision.
Job Responsibilities:

• Schedule and planning of loads for our owner-operators
• Communicating shipment details with customers
• Assist with border crossing requirements
• Be able to develop strong relationships with our owner-operators
• Work closely with operations and sales to ensure the efficient flow of information

Qualifications:

• A proven record of success in prior roles
• Bilingual is preferred, but not required
• Prior experience in transportation industry considered an asset
• Familiarity with operational software and Microsoft Office
