With the continued increase in our coporate and leisure clients travel, World Wide Travel One is expanding its team and hiring an additional travel agent for our Timmins travel centre. World Wide Travel One has served the City of Timmins and the Cochrane District for over 64 years. Founded in Timmins in 1960, World Wide Travel One is one of the largest travel companies in Ontario providing premier service to our corporate and leisure clients throughout Canada.
As probationary team member, we have an in-house training program to assist new team members to be certified as a licensed travel agent with the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO). Upon completion of the probationary period which includes being TICO certified, staff is moved to our pay grid. • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and computer)
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Experience in the service/hospitality/tourism industry required
• Bilingual an asset
• Travel agent experience with TICO license and/or Sabre GDS experience preferred
• High School diploma or currently enrolled in an accredited travel program preferred
