Position Summary
The Warehouse Operations Shift Supervisor is responsible for achieving the prescribed company objectives for safety, efficiency, quality, and inventory accuracy. Emphasis is placed on the management of Team Members and the implementation of proactive operations action plans specific to receiving, warehousing and shipping product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives
Location: 5664 69th Ave SE, Calgary, Alberta
Schedule: Morning shift 6:00am - 2:30pm

What you will do

Employee Management and Development
Conducting regular formal employee reviews and informal feedback discussions for all staff within their area of responsibility
Train and coach on WMS systems and act as a subject matter expert
Work closely with the staff in all aspect of the day-to-day operations of the account(s) they are responsible for
Help drive goal, target and performance standards
First point of contact for customer concerns and providing exemplary customer service
Ensure all KPI's are achieved for customers and internal stakeholders
Ensure employees are trained and awaer of all standard operating procedures and best practices
Run various reports including labour planning for team
Create a postive and safe working environment

What You’ll Bring

1-2 years of relevant warehouse experience
Must possess front-line supervision experience in addition to demonstrating skills in leadership, organization and communication as necessary.
Must have proven analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in and a solid understanding of warehousing and distribution.
Familiar with all material handling equipment.
Knowledge of all appropriate health and safety legislation.
Must be capable of coordinating the training of subordinates to ensure the adequate development of work skills.
Computer literate.
Demonstrated record of providing excellence in customer service.
