Job Requirements
  • Must be a RECE with 2 years experience OR diploma/degree in child and youth care OR diploma/degree in recreation and leisure services OR in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
  • First Aid & CPR - C
  • Police Check - Vulnerable Sector Clearance (within 6 months)
  • Current Record of Immunizations
  • QCCN Training and experience an asset
  • Safe Food Handler Training - an asset

Job Description
A successful candidate will be responsible for the:
  • day to day operations of the School Age Program
  • supervising and mentoring educators
  • establish and maintain positive relationships with families, children, educators, host site staff and community partners
  • ability to apply the requirements of the Ministry of Education, Public Health and other governing requirements including Way To Grow Daycare's Policy and Procedures
  • work together with other supervisors, Quality and Licensing Specialist, Registration and Administration Specialist, Child Care Director and other Way To Grow Daycare employees
**this is a School Age Supervisor position for Before and After School - there is an opportunity for full 8 hour day with hours at a nearby child care program
