This position will be based in our Office in Chile in an full in person work model. We are looking for local Talent!
Main responsibilities:

• Oversee the ongoing SOX methodology within a NASDAQ listed Group.
• Test the design and effectiveness of SOX and non-SOX controls,
• Lead de implementation of the Group firm’s Operational Risk Management Framework (RMF) including the design and maintenance of risk appetites, risk taxonomy and other aspects of the RMF.

• Ensure compliance with regulations such as: Basel (Solvency), IFRS, SEC, CMF (e.g. NCG N° 510 & NCG N° 507), etc.
• Build the 2nd Line of Defense Procedures, Controls and Dashboards with KPIs to evaluate the different types of risks (Liquidity, Market, Operational, Credit). Build and maintain the Company’s risk appetite.

• Lead the implementation and monitor the governance of Operational Events based on regulation and best practices and deliver effective reporting throughout the firm’s governance framework to enable senior management to effectively manage risk.

• Review and analyze the quality and accuracy of risk issues and events captured within the business. Monitor the firm’s KRI.
• Oversee and implement the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) check and challenge reviews to ensure key risks and associated controls are correctly captured and assessed by first line teams.
• Conduct training sessions for employees on risk awareness and prevention.
• Perform follow ups and action plans to ensure first line teams are closing issues and making improvements effectively. Ensure that evidence is available to validate their completion.
• Develop dashboards and reports to evaluate and explain internal control effectiveness.
• Support the implementation of the businesses continuity & operational resilience plans and policies.
• Work on regulatory controls on funds perspective and design reports.

Main requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in operational risk and controls management within financial services, preferably investment management.
• Should have SOX or other relevant internal control experience.
• Must have experience of operating in a highly regulated environment.
• Must be fluent in English
• Should have experience in tools as: ACL, Service Now, Monday, Workiva, Oracle ERP, SQL, Python, etc.
• Experience with methodologies such as: BASEL II, Solvency II, COSO, COBIT, NIST, etc. are a plus.
