1. Cost Estimator needed in China to prepare cost estimates for all major customer quotes, including customer submission forms. Consult with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

2. Assist in development of plant burden rates and explain the logic behind the process. Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management purposes including planning, organizing, scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors and determining cost effectiveness. Interact with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and the customer regarding product cost.

3. Conduct special studies related to market trends, competitor pricing, lost business analysis, standard costing or other special projects. Review data and determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists.
