Set up purchasing strategy, including purchasing qty, pacing and delivery schedule, contribute to rationalization of supply. 4. Communicate with global supply planning team to build a reasonable and achievable local buy plan. Bring a reconciliation of the impact from demand change or launch change. 5. Work with sales team and planning team on OTB logic, validate demand order according to business objective. Alert any potential shortage or excess to business team for further risk mitigation plan. 6. Issue monthly purchase order, work with factory planning team and logistic team for the on-time delivery. Pre-alert delay issue to merchandising team and sales team for adjusting launch plan and sales plan. 7. Optimize the end-to-end supply planning through advanced planning project.
10% China order / forecast collecting
1. Based on China line list, work out order format to wholesale / DTC / merchandising / marketing for sales order / forecast collection.
2. Consolidate China demand and work with relate functions to make decision on the products with risk of below country minimum.
30% China buy plan / order status updating
1. Work out seasonal China local buy plan according to product launch, production lead-time and China buy structure.
2. Lead the alignment with category merchandising team if there is any gap between product launch and estimated supply schedule before the buy.
3. Work out seasonal China order detail after order collection.
4. Monthly share most update order status file with wholesale / DTC / merchandising / Marketing team according to latest buy plan and buy result.
5. Initial DTC OTB vs buy structure and monitoring OTB usage status comparing with actual buy to make sure final buy will not exceed aligned OTB.
30% Monthly buy execution
1. Define monthly buy items based on monthly global buy plan and China order detail.
2. Maintain O9 SP for system visibility and buy execution.
3. Provide detail buy list to global supply planning and purchasing team for PO placement.
4. Take the lead on drop risk with merchandising / wholesale / DTC / marketing team during monthly buy process due to global MOQ issue and work out solution.
5. Work with global supply planning team to share China decision on MOQ issues.
15% Post buy tracking
1. Work with factory planning and logistics team on PO delivery plan.
2. Setup regular meeting with commercial team to share delivery status and align action plan.
3. Prioritize supply to channels after aligning with commercial team, which is caused by delay, supply shortage and partial delivery.
15% Process and system enhancement
1. Play a key role as SME of O9 SP system for not only daily execution, but continuous enhancement by working with IT and global supply planning team.
2. Regular meeting with global supply planning and factory planning team to share more China voice for business support (special buy timeline etc.)
3. Monthly dashboard preparation and continuously work with IT team on reporting digitalization.
