Responsibilities

• Assistant to consultants for code compliance review, site inspection in different project stage, witness the testing & commissioning for system, and prepare
• Assistant to consultants for diverse projects implementing a variety of Fire & Life Safety solutions.
• Assistant to consultants for project management and documentation.
• Assistant to consultants to prepare statutory response with supplementary information.
• Attend project & design meetings, expectations completing assigned tasks on schedule

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering / electrical and mechanical engineering / fire engineering or equivalent degree agreed in CAEU.
• Relevant experience in Code consulting, design of fire suppression & alarm systems, and developing performance-based strategies in a project design environment is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in Fire engineering highly desirable, though fresh graduates will be considered.
• Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills including speaking and writing in English. Ability to present clear and technically sound fire protection engineering strategies, speak in public, negotiate, explain fire protection concepts, and enforce standards while strengthening relationships, occasionally under pressure
• Should be able to work independently and as part of a team, enjoying professional challenges wanting to be an integral part of the long-term growth of Jensen Hughes.
• Familiar with relevant computer drawing software Auto CAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft offices.
• Strong Project Management capabilities and understanding of Project management
