Business Development Manager - Audio Technology Licensing (China)

The Corporate Strategy team at Bose works on some of the company’s most important business and growth initiatives. We work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams across the company to analyze market opportunities, create winning strategies, and inform important decisions with insightful, data-driven recommendations based on a deep knowledge of the business, customers, and external market factors.
Job Description
Responsibilities:

Business Development:
- Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key ODM and SOC partners in China.
- Negotiate and close licensing deals that align with Bose's strategic objectives.
- Drive indirect sales through partner networks and create compelling joint value propositions.

Account Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and optimize product offerings.

Program Management:
- Oversee cross-functional teams to deliver audio hardware projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage project scope, risks, resources, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with global standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the audio industry, with a focus on business development, account management, and indirect sales.
- Proven track record of building successful partnerships and driving revenue growth in the Chinese market.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustic Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and familiarity with global audio product standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Deep understanding of the Chinese business culture and market dynamics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
