• Design and develop financial models to support Business Unit (BU) investment and Capex.
• Review customer P&Ls and work with operations to improve financial returns.
• Drive and actively participate as necessary, in customer and site budget & forecast development.
• Act as BU focal point for all commercial models and contract compliance.
• Be actively involved in reviewing, amending, finalising, interpreting and, where necessary, negotiating targeted customer and supplier contracts.

• Solid understanding of financial investment evaluation and capital decision making.
• Good understanding of mercantile law and key contractual elements as are pertinent to a contract logistics business.
• Commercially sound – understanding and ability to identify business risks. Balance between risk and reward.
• Good communication and analytical skills. Strong ability in business writing and ability to put together a comprehensive and well thought out business proposal/business case.
• Capital budgeting and related analysis i.e. IRR, NPV, DCF, notional cash.
• Proven problem solving ability with a solutions orientation.
