Head of Commercial Operation

As Commercial Operation Head your primary role will be responsible to manage and support sales to optimize territory coverage and improve productivity, drive growth by setting up effective processes. Defines the criteria for dealer target, inventory level, price system between different tier, capex plan. You will also be responsible for business model improvement and lean process.

Responsibilities:
- Channel Planning and Implementation: Lead and support CE head to develop channel vision, strategy and tactics, according to 5 years’ aspiration & GTM strategy change.
- Distribution Plan: Define annual distribution strategy and interpret into distribution policy & contracts (including product rebate scheme, data, and distributor service requirement).
- Distributor & commercial related process management: Formulation and optimization of all commercial related process, following GSP requirements.
- Channel KPI support: Proactively support & drive channel team in accomplishing annual sell in target. Set up mechanism to manage distributor KPI and supervise, train, enable channel partners to fulfil various channel requirements.
- Data analytics: Lead in channel analysis & dashboards, support ad hoc channel data requirements in a timely manner. Interpret data trends & stories by aligning key stakeholders internally & externally.
- Distributor communication: lead & support company level distributor meeting. Support BU/ regional channel meeting. Deliver & articulate various company policy / notice to distributors with accuracy & feedback analysis together with channel managers.
- Project management: Initiate business projects based on company goal and channel needs, conduct and manage projects, including project target, execution details, discount calculation, agreement management, and project evaluation.
- Follow up on strategy implementation, revise and summarize based on real circumstances, drive & enhance effectiveness of commercial operation procedure; resolve issues and problems and come up with new methods.
Professional General Competencies
- Fluent written and verbal Mandarin and English language.
- Strong background with related experience in commercial operation in medical device or healthcare industry, dental industry preferred.
- A self-driven individual who strives to provide a high-quality service to the business.
- An excellent communicator including written, verbal and listening skills.
- Ability to analyze data efficiently and effectively with excel and / or data analytical tools, and present results in well-structured and concise formats.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics, accounting, economics, business management or a related degree.
- 10+ years of experience as commercial operation in MNC with similar industry background (i.e. dentistry or medical device).
