What this job involves –
The Environment, Health, and Safety Coordinator, as part of Jones Lang La Salle Resilience and EHS department, is to assist Client in maintaining documentation of Client’s Environment, Health, and Safety standards, ISO14001 an ISO45001 certifications and compliance with local EHS regulations. As an EHS Coordinator, they act as the point of contact for support and will help coordinate escalation to Client’s regional EHS Lead for all office facility Environment, Health & Safety matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious health and safety professional with a passion for sustainability, who is looking to develop their career further with a leader in the industry. This is a support role and at no time will these coordinators represent Client in any fashion especially with any local regulatory agencies or government agencies.

Responsibilities
Engage across all sites and support the Client’s GWS (Global Workplace Services) team to assist with documentation of the Global EHS policy. Locations include but not limited to: Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Philippines, Australia and New Zealand.
Support Client’s HSE personnel in external and Internal Audit and certification process, following Client’s internal procedures.
Assist with periodic safety inspections using Client’s standard checklist and as scheduled by Client.
Track and monitor Client’s EHS Objective and Client’s implementation for related activities.
Assist with scheduling and tracking of safety committee meetings with Associate and Landlords.
Prepare documents compiling monthly and yearly EHS data and statistics for Client’s internal review.
Client must verify accuracy of such statistics prior to their use with any governmental entity, accreditation body or other third party.
Conducting floor level EHS awareness for Client associate.
Collect EHS related feedback from Client sites/employees and communicate that feedback to Client’s regional EHS Lead.
Assist with scheduling and tracking of site safety committee meetings for the region and tracking of action items to closure by the responsible party as applicable.
Send reports to JLL and Client Global HSSE Manager and Client’s regional HSE Lead.
Supporting and coordinating in any External inspection/ survey / testing.
Inspection of first aid kits, monthly fire extinguisher & visual inspection of AED, gas suppression system
Verify and track the number of Emergency Response Team (first aiders) across different floors and shifts and report the same as compared to Client’s internal standards.
Assist with scheduling of Client-led emergency preparedness drills as per local jurisdiction / guidelines and or Client documents or procedure and document any noted action items for resolution to Client’s regional EHS Lead.
Verify documentation of applicable facility asbestos records (where present) by a third party to be retained by Client and distribute records to Client’s designated recipients.
Conduct Client’s external vendor/contractor/landlord evaluations to Client’s EHS standards, with the support of local GWS inputs.
As per EHS monitoring plan coordinate with external testing and monitoring agency to conduct survey and prepare action plan for Client review for any deficiencies identified in the third-party reports.
Support Client’s Corporate/ Central EHS team in celebrating Safety Day/ Environment Day at facility.
Regular reporting of facility Targets & Objectives to JLL Global HSSE Manager, Client’s regional EHS Lead, and other recipients as designated by Client.
Support Regional EHS Leader in collecting and validating facility Energy/Water/Waste data required for ESG/ sustainability reporting.

Key Deliverables
Support documentation of Client’s compliance with its internal EHS Management System policies, procedures, consultation, and reporting requirements across all sites (both ISO 45001/14001 certified and non-certified).
Identifying opportunities for improvement and solutions to existing and potential EHS challenges for Client review.
Tracking of Client’s internal and external audit findings and workplace inspections and reporting of Client’s completion of action items to address nonconformities, observations, and opportunities for improvement by the applicable Client team.
Travel as needed and travel costs will be reimbursed by Client. Travel costs are not included as part of this proposal.

Employee Specifics
You will have experience working as an EHS Coordinator in a corporate environment for at least 4 years, and:
Bachelor's degree in health and safety or a related field may be preferred
Registration as a Certified Safety Professional or similar form of licensure as a safety officer
Experience with Power Point, Excel and auditor safety software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation – in English
Interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective professional relationships with employees and stakeholders
Highly client-focused attitude, exceptional collaboration skills.
Hands-on approach to problem solving with the ability to juggle competing deadlines and tasks within a dynamic workplace
