We are offering a job opportunity as a part of SFS (Smart Factory Solutions) department at any location in Division Chassis Solution Region Asia Pacific. The regional team “Smart Factory Solutions – Asia Pacific” implements standardized processes and solutions for the digitization of internal production and is responsible for Industry 4.0 projects and their rollout in all Div C plants in the Region Asia Pacific.
In close cooperation with the domain Production and corporate IT, we implement economical processes and solutions based on modern IT technologies, such as ERP- and PLM-Systems, Digital Manufacturing Platform (DMP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality and Big Data Analytics.

Your tasks:

• Implementation of the “Digital Manufacturing Strategy” within Division Chassis Solutions
  
• Management of projects and their rollout in the field of Industry 4.0 as well as training of the local experts in the production plants
  
• Optimization of existing production plants with regard to Smart Factory and Industry 4.0, and digitalization of shopfloor area
  
• Implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions e.g. machine connections, online data acquisition, interfaces to other systems, finding signals, connection of gateways, production network
  
• Setup of machine infrastructure and architecture which includes devices, PLC programming, signal finding, connection of gateways, patching and ensure machine to network connectivity, etc.
  
  

Your profile:

• University degree in Automation Technology, Electronical Engineer, Computer Science (IT), Data Science or a similar subject.
  
• Pronounced interest in Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory e.g. Cyber Security, IIo T, Cloud, MES, SCADA, OPC-UA, Profi Bus, Profi Net, etc.
  
• Process thinking, hands-on mentality as well as the ability to cooperate and communicate from the shop floor to management level and intercultural competence.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, and has willingness to travel.
