As an Associate on the Client Service team, you will understand your client's unique business questions and identify the experts who can best provide the answers. You will find and recruit new experts into our network of over 1,500,000 Guidepoint Advisors, determining which ones are best suited to speak with the client. (For many of our employees, the Associate role represents their first job post-college, and provides a unique opportunity to put core business skills into practice, as well as gain exposure to a wide range of industries and disciplines.)
The Client Service team plays a critical role in helping clients solve business challenges by connecting them with the right industry experts. The team's primary focus is on delivering customized solutions through project management and expert recruitment, supporting clients in navigating complex market landscapes. Our work contributes to the success of financial institutions, consulting firms, and corporations, offering business intelligence that directly impacts their decision-making processes.
After you master these core skills of recruiting and connecting Advisors with clients, you will gain additional exposure to more complex project and client relationship management as you grow your career here and move into Research Manager and Project Manager roles.

- Industry Expert Recruitment: Research, identify, and recruit relevant high level industry experts (Director above) to fulfill customized sell side requests. Qualify by screening and creating bio profiles of prospective industry experts for client review.
- In-depth Industry Research: Conduct deep research into assigned sectors, identifying industry trends and recommending relevant experts.
- Communication: Maintain close communication with PMs to understand their needs and provide high-quality Advisors to sell side clients.
- Speaker Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with industry experts, ensuring that each panel discussion has appropriate speakers. Regularly follow up with advisors to ensure the smooth execution of events.
- Identify market trends: (sectors covered - TMT, Healthcare, Financial Services, Energy & Industrials, Business Services, Consumer Goods & Services)
- Top Speaker Recommendations: Compile weekly "Top Speakers Finest" lists based on industry trends.
- Work with Project Managers to develop strategies for satisfying each client project request
- Utilize Linked In, press releases, case studies, and the internet to identify the best experts for our clients to get their strategic or investment questions answered
- Identify the best leads and invite them to join our network to participate in consultations with our clients
- Screen experts to determine their suitability for each specific client project and develop professional profiles to present to your clients
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
- Working Experience: 1 to 3 years of work experience in total
- In-depth Industry Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of sectors such as TMT, Financial Services, Consumer Goods & Services, and quickly identify emerging trends and hot topics.
- Excellent Communication: Excellent communication and interaction skills, including demonstrated written and verbal abilities in both English and Mandarin. Be capable of effectively communicating with clients, experts, and internal teams, while excelling in information gathering and analysis.
- Multitasking Abilities: Display strong multitasking skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring timely completion.
- Strong Responsibility and Patience: Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and patience in handling complex tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Eager to Learn: Possess a strong desire for continuous learning and development, quickly grasping new industry knowledge and market dynamics.
