Summary:

Essential Functions:

• Develops formal production plans and schedule updates as required. Schedules to minimize waste, optimize efficiencies, and utilize capacity. Supports and provides input into the monthly sales and operations planning process.
• Leads and develops the communication processes between internal stakeholders to provide quick and accurate information to customers.
• Manages lead times to provide a balanced approach to short lead times and high on-time delivery.
• Prioritizes and expedites customer orders as required.
• Monitors production attainment to the manufacturing schedule and makes appropriate adjustments.
• Provides reports and guidance to manufacturing, engineering, and quality for efficient factory management.
• Participates in inventory reduction and control efforts.
• Assist in implementing new methods for automating and improving inventory control and material tracking.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
• 4+ years’ experience in production scheduling
• Spreadsheet, database and material requirements planning experience
• Proficiency in production planning software systems, enterprise resource planning
• Strong knowledge of production planning principles, methodologies, and best practices
