Middle/Senior React Engineer

We are looking for a talented Middle/Senior React Engineer to join our team in Colombia. Our client is on a mission to make it simple for everyone to eat well. They serve healthy, handcrafted meals and snacks from our growing network of 1100+ Smart Fridges (software-enabled vending machines).

Responsibilities:

Build and enhance user interfaces using React.js, Java Script, and Type Script, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Collaborate within an agile team to deliver features that align with project requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain frontend components and applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Write unit and integration tests using Jest and Cypress.
Translate Figma designs into code using CSS, HTML, and Java Script.
Introduce new features, refactor existing code, and resolve technical issues to deliver high-quality, well-tested solutions.
Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.
Ensure applications are optimized for responsiveness and compatibility across different platforms and devices.
Work closely with the product owner, UI/UX designer, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Requirements:

4 + years of experience with Java Script, React, and Gatsby.
Proficiency in CSS, HTML.
Ability to translate figma designs to code.
Experience with Jest, Cypress.
Familiarity with Type Script.
Experience collaborating with business leaders and engineers to understand and define projects.
Desire to solve complex problems elegantly and efficiently.
Proven ability to work independently and learn new skills quickly and continuous desire to improve.
Strong communication (Upper-intermediate level of English is required) and teamwork skills.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Flutter or any other Frontend languages.
Experience with AWS.
